Rocker arm torque question

What is the correct torque or method used to tighting all 16 rocker arms on a 1980 350 230hp omc. thanks

Make sure your cam is on base circle(valve is completely closed). Tighten the nut till push rod wont spin. Practice on one till you get the hang of it. Once the pushrod is tight turn it from 1/2 to 3/4 turn more. I usually do the 1/2 turn. Some people do more. Alot of it is just preference. After you do one mark it somehow, so you know it has been done. Also, its sexier if you take the spark plugs out. And use the balancer bolt to rotate the engine. Don't use the starter.but it is pretty easy. Shouldn't take any longer than 30 minutes.
