rocker switch wirig

I have seachoice on-off illuminated rocker switches...no wiring diagram came with. two terminals on one end and one on the other end. what is the correct wiring... I can get the switch to work for my appliance..no problem....but I cannot get the switch illumination to work properly.... any help would be appreciated.....

The third terminal must be grounded as it is the ground for the internal light. If the light is on when the switch is off you need to reverse the line and load wires. Look at the switch carefully and you will see a ground symbol next to the ground terminal.

Thank you very much.... they work perfectly now. I will hit you guys back with some bilge pump questions a little later...lol
