can anybody tell me what the fuel feed assembly does part # 6r5-24408-00-00 its after the filter and before fuel pumps.having a fuel problem and this thing acts like it is partially blocked , or is it some kind of check valve .thanks

its used to make us techs a lot of money.
remove it, unscrew it,remove the guts and reassemble it.

could this be my fuel starvation problem ,does it come apart.can i just eliminate with a piece of hose or does it have to be inline. would love to know what you mean about making techs alot of money if you would endulge us.thanks

cause the new fuel blends tend to stick the oring on the shuttle piston.
either gut it and reinstall it or buy more fuel line.
I dont care.

its your money, I dont mind trying to help you save a bit.
but this tip is quick, easy and cost free.
may not solve your issue but it will eliminate it as an issue.
