Rod cap bolt size?

Just curious, what socket size for the rod cap bolts?

I get to add a new toy to my tool box, 5/16 too small, 3/8 too large!

It is 5/16. Use a 3/8-drive, 12-point socket. If you try to use a 1/4-inch drive socket, you'll probably split it...

Thanks, I'll pick up a set of 12pt, all I have is 6pt.
