Has anybody tried using the roll-on or paint-on or spray-on bedliner material as Keel Guard on a fiberglass boat (gelcoated).

No but you would have to rough the glass up pretty good to get the chemical bond to hold enough for it to be worth it.

Bert1, I havn't done it but I may try it. The way I would accomplish this is to mask off the what I wanted to coat, lightly sand then epoxy prime a couple coats, apply bedliner of choice. If it doesn't work you can then sand off the primer and buff the gelcoat for a newlike finish again. just a thought :)

That might work but it is hard to get in a light color. Then from what I read the light colors are not UV resistant. Some of the darker colors fade and flake too.

If only I could get a Qt of white or off white.

It needs 3 things-

1. U.V. resistant.
2. Smooth and thick, appy with brush or roller.
3. Available in white or off white.

There has got to be sombody that has this for less than 1000 dollars!!!! Hopefully under $20-$30.

If it cost 100 dollars I am going with a KeelGuard.
