Just wanted to throw out a post about ropes and handles.
Not many people realize how much of a big difference this can create in being pulled behind a boat. It is impossible to load the line probably without a good rope. A dyneema or spectra line is preferred, but you can get by with a tight Poly-E line if you are just recreational boarding.
Now, the reason for this is because any slack in the line will cause the rider to loss momentum and also completely destroy their Pop off of a wake. This is why a ski rope should not be used for wakeboarding. As soon as you release from the water, the line will begin to coil back, creating a lot slack in air, and when you hit the water. For a better definition, visit this site.

Now, that his has been somewhat explained, who is using what kind of line? Don't be embarrassed.

I am actually currently back to using my regular ski line (Which by the way is pretty horrible to go back to). I loaned my spectra to my friend, and haven't seen him in about four to five weeks. So, I am not fond of that part.

For those who don't have a good combination already. A good place to look is HERE. This is where I got my original rope, and it has done quite well. I love how many take off sections there are. It allows for all level riders to ride at the length they specifically want.

Still using the regular ski rope. BUT I have been looking here and there off ebay. I am cheap so I have to find a deal to buy it. I did just pick up the wake boarding dvd series The Book.

I just picked up an Accurate combo, I could feel the stretch with the poly ski line. Can't wait to get out and try the new line.
