Rough idle

I have a work order in with my marina to fix my rough idle issue. Question is will I do damage if I take it for a short ride? Once in gear over 1000 rpms she purrs
Any thoughts?

Doubtful. Probably needs tune up such as timing, carb adjustment, plugs, etc.
