1979 70hp Evinrude has rough idle. We suspect the power pack but am not sure we are testing correctly. Took 4 wire terminal loose between power pack and timer base. Connected ohm meter to terminal A and terminal D. Got a reading of 19.7 ohms. Reversed the leads and also got 19.7.<br />According to the manual we have it should be infinite one way and resistance the other.
