Rough Starts - Volvo 131d

I've got an '89 Volvo AQ131d/275. Runs great when warm.. Starts VERY rough when cold. It'll take me a good 3-4 minutes on the ramp to get it running strong enough to back it out of the slip. I've got a Solex 1bb carb that I cleaned and rebuilt last year. I don't have any issues when the engine is warm, it'll start right up and keep running. Any ideas?

They don't have chokes, and yes, they are cold blooded. Nature of the beast.

Tune up recently ?. When cold or sitting overnight you need to pump the trottle a few times first and hold the gas up a little when cranking.
