Rubber Motor Mounts:cheaper alternatives?

I broke the tip off a rubber engine mount (too much elbow grease) on a 1968 18hp Evinrude 18802M. The replacement part number is OMC 303879 but is very expensive $50 plus. I found another part 325974 looks the same but sells for about $18. I still think this is very high but better.

My questions, is this cheaper part compatible? and is there somewhere else to buy engine mounts that are compatible but not so expensive? I went to some engine mount manufacturing sites but I don't know the specs of the mount to order. The ones they sell look very similar to my motor's mount.

Thanks,

Strange isn't it? I took a used exhaust housing to an outboard swap meet yesterday and brought it back home because there was no interest in it. It has two of those mounts, plus all 3 lower mounts attached. At those prices it shoulda been a gold mine for somebody, huh?

I used mounts scavanged from a "59 18HP to put on a 72 25HP. Never checked the parts catalogs to see if they fit- looked the same.
Still have some of the mounts in my tool box.

I've several spart power heads, just looking for center sections and lu"s to make whole motors.

It's the LU's that are the hardest part to find when putting engines together. The powerheads and exhaust housing's are a dime a dozen.
