rubber rub rail redarking???

rubber rail dont have the cash for new one any ideas to clean up old one its still in good shape just paint on it in spots and the rest of the boat looks so nice i was wondering if a shoe polish would work any idea would hep thanks

I think it might be more of a plastic then rubber..... what about krylon fusion spray paint made for plastics.

Try cleaning them with brake fluid. Cant say for sure it will work, but it does a good job making old tires look like new.

BE CAREFUL..... Brake Fluid EATS PAINT!!! So, if the hull is painted it would not be a good idea.

Still might be worth trying if it can be removed easily.

maybe a heat gun ,saw it on you tube for restoring either plastic or rubber cant remember.

It may not last as long but how about just a quick wipe down with some Armor-All?
