rude starflite 90 s not charging (1964)

Hey, have a little problem with my engine, it runs well and starts first time but after about 15 mins of use it cuts out as the battery isnt charging properly and due to the ignition set up it needs a charging battery. What would make the battery stop charging??

Follow the service manual's procedure for checking out the stator (under the flywheel) and the positive and negative diodes.<br /><br />You have either a problem in those areas or a break in the wiring somewhere.
