I have a 1974 Invader IN-16 and am looking for pictures and measurements of the back-to-back seats and if they came with lounge seats or just storage seats. The guy that had it before me threw them out because they needed re-upholstered and he just wanted to use it for fishing. Other than the pedestal seats and the grey carpet, it is original and in exceptional shape. I am planning on returning it to its original seating and making it as original as possible. The gel coat is amazing and just needs a light buffing and sealing to make it nearly new.

That sounds like a great restoration project! Hopefully someone with an original IN-16 can share pictures and measurements to help you get the seating back to factory specs.

looking thru the internets show back to back fold downs on the ones that look original or restored.

as far as sizing/locations - unless you are doing a show piece to a restore to original this is the time to get what you want. what fits you. People were shorter in the 70's....

I'm assuming you are replacing the carpet. You can see the screw holes then.

Also a good time to check out the sub structure of the 50 year old boat.

good luck and enjoy.
