Runs for about five mins then starts missing.....

Like a bad plug or something or water in the gas. Then will not start<br />1999 Force 120<br />new plugs and each has fire even after this starts happening<br />fresh fuel with stabilizer and water out in it<br />carbs were taken apart and cleaned good by me about two mths ago and it has run good untill last weekend<br />good compression 150psi +-<br /><br />I know the water pump is weak but not bad and will be replacing it this weekend. Do these motors shut down when they start getting a little too warm or could the power pack or stator be the problem? <br />My thoughts were if it was the stator or the power pack then I would get no fire to the plugs.

You know it is faily new (three mths +-) but that does not mean it is not full of trash. I did not even that about that. thanks for the idea I will try it tonight

Well last night after replacing the filter I found that I am not getting any fire are the plugs now.<br />Guess I will up it is the shop and let them find for me what part of the eletronics went or is going out.<br />thanks anyway
