Hello everyone,
This weekend I accidently drifted my boat into shallow water (I was fishing without anchoring). When I started the boat I noticed the prop started churning mud.
The temp rises if I let it idle. If I accelerate the temp goes back to normal. I did not let it get above 170 degrees.
I?m pretty sure I now need to change the impeller. What other things need attention on an incident like this one?
Motor is a 1988 Merc 4.3 with an Alpha 1 gen 1 drive.
