Granted. But not a real stretch given the day I had. To be "the highlight" of it was not a difficult feat, trust me.
Suffice to say, it drew substantial vaccuum, and I am glad it is over. So don't feel so bad just because you cheered me up... You made my day as a MOF. I'm very amused by the frustration you have illustrated in that one word post. LOL! I think the whole issue is mute. The humor arrises in the weight given to those who have recieved or have been nominated for this politically driven award. To add the cherry on top it is historically a liberal only's club. So when a true conservative gets nominated to the liberals only club, yea, there's a bit of irony and humor there.

All in all, kind of a nothing thread. Just a football topic, and really easy to get touchdowns with.

I have never called myself a lib or cons. I guess all in all I fall slightly to the left. I dislike W, and for some reason, from that, people like 12 and others do that mind reading thing and determine I must be a lib. No biggie though. Compared to 12, we all are.

12's problem, he has had nothing since the Nov elections. Now this comes along and he must squeeze all the joy from it he can, even if he has to mind-read to get more joy. I don't blame him though. Live it up 12, enjoy this huge victory. It may be your last for many years. BTW, by huge, I really mean small and insignificant. Enjoy it, nonetheless.

As far as his politics/news reporting goes..
If he is still as on track as he was in 1995 then I'd rather hear
his take on it than any "main" stream news group.

If reporters, reported the news / facts then Rush and the

I have to say it is interesting how much hate crawls out of the woodwork at the mention of his name. For gods sake, the man has a little radio show. Nobody is forcing anyone to listen. He has no power. He can't write or vote on legislation, he can't commit us to a war or to membership in stupid world bodies. Heck, he isn't all that active in fund raising for Conservatives.

But look at the lengths people will go to try and knock down a persons views who don't agree with them. Its as stupid as getting really upset over Rosie or Barbara.

Hell I hope he wins. But lets be real, socialists won't vote for him, communists won't vote for him, people who hate America won't vote for him. The nomination was simply to make a point.
