Spraying fluid from high pressure side on top of ram. Corrosion prevents proper size wrench from fitting 13.5.mm or 19/32 wrench.. ugh I think this is (was) metric high pressure hose line.. Question - what size flange wrench should I buy, and how to best remove the 2 hoses (already soaking in PB blaster) wirhout breaking off the fitting in the ram without using heat so i don't ruin the seals in the ram? 1/2 in seems to small, 14mm too big... any ideas before I get into this? Thanks

cut the steel lines at the fitting and use a 6 point socket hammered on if necessary

2 Xs on the above post. That is the only way you will get it off without damaging anything else.

After ordering the correct part I soaked the rusted fitting every night with PB Blaster until the part arrived. Then I cut off the old hose at the top fitting with the 4" diamond blade on my angle grinder very carefully as there was little room, then slid a 9/16 - 6 point socket over the top fitting and used my extension to clear the transom and a breaker bar and Shazam it was loose. A 5/8 wrench was able to break the fitting loose at the pump. put the new par on and will now bleed. THANKS FOR THE TIPS.
