Now I don't know if his is true or not, but ther story goes something like this.

This man is marred to his wife Ruth. One day he decided to go out and buy a boat. She was so mad at him that she stated that either the boat goes or she goes.

He named his boat Ruthless.

Re: Ruthless

My Uncle Pete had one of those 1st generation bass boats with the stick steering up front. When he got ready to move, he just dropped his rod, cranked the motor and gunned it without saying a word - you had be paying attention if you wanted to fish in his back seat.

Well, he took Aunt Ruth fishing once. She was standing up in the stern when he decided to take off - he never heard the splash or her screams; he just kept on going, ruthlessly.

Cool.

I had a 1st wife (for 14 years) named Ruth. And later, a 'shack-up' for 5 years also named Ruth....

I can safely consider myself one 'Ruthless' SOB

Sorry guys, closest I can get is the Baby Ruth that fell on the theater floor with my Cola in 1959. Cola on a Baby Ruth makes them soggy and slimey to bite.
