So, here is the situation. The darn thing isn't running. Got spark, little bit of compression, and fuel getting to the cylinder. In fact, I even pulled the spark plug and dumped a little fuel there...still no running. so, this problem may be contributed to the fact I dropped the spark plug in the water and bought the incorrect ones. could somone please give advice and the correct kind of spark plug please!!! Mucho Apreciado!!!

First of all, when you say "Little bit of compression", what exactly are the numbers?? I'm not 100% sure on the 'cut-off' number for low compression, but if it is in fact too low, chances are that puppy ain't gonna fire up and if it does, it sure isn't gonna run right. Also, to give true info/advice, we need to know what kind of engine, how many hp, and what year.

Looks like a Golden Jet 400 is a 4hp from 1963, and the plug was a j8j, 16:1 oil. Current plug number is J8C
