Vokoun had a rough day and Miller was on fire between the pipes. Streak had to end sometime. Pens will be playing in May ... Will the Sabres?

But without Sid, it'll only be a few days.

They are jinxed because a kid I knew in grade school was bragging on Facebook that they were going to win the Cup, before all the trades and Sid injury. I warned him, but he doomed them with his (unreasonable) guarantee. Sorry.

Sid says he will be back for the playoffs. And if not, I think this team can win without him ... time will tell. They won #15 without him ...

the pens will be ok without sid for a few weeks......the loss last night is no cause for alarm. ( any team can win on any given night). sid will be skating during practice within two weeks, possibly playing before the end of the regular season.

Not this year..but the Pens will lose in the first round without glass jaw..that is my prediction and I'm sticken to it

I agree, that without Sid, they're done in the 1st round.
However, the "Glass Jaw" comment is ludicrous. You take puck to the face at that speed and see what it does to you. Better yet, you take a Nerf puck (like the "chuck-a-puck" contest ones) at that speed and I'll bet you're on the ice longer than Sid.

Hockey players are "crazy tough"! (Back skating in two weeks, from a Broken Jaw! Are you kidding me?! Crazy Tough!

They have Iginla now, that should make a big difference now that Crosbys out for a spell.

once (if) iggy finds his comfort level he will make a huge difference. malkin is the guy who needs to step it up a notch ......when (if) he gets rolling he can take over a game. jmo

I agree with this 100%. Geno has to set up HUGE in the playoffs, or they are done in the 1st round. Now if Geno steps up and then Sid comes back, it's a whole new ballgame.
