I noticed in a previous thread...That is why it is important to assure they are in direct (continuity ) connection to the metal to which they are attached.This can be tested using a simple ohm meter reading between the zinc plate and case of motor.

Question: What would the recommended ohm reading be for the continuity test stated above?

I think the point is that you want to show continuity. Not a specific ohm range.

However, metal to metal should give a reading near 0 ohms . . . if you were to test it in such a way.
