Sacramento Delta

I live in the Great Lakes region and am not familiar with California waters. I am currently interested in a used boat who the broker says spent most of it's time in the Sacramento Delta. Could someone tell me water kind of water is there. I am assuming that it would be Brackish but I don't have a clue.

Most of the delta is fresh water, but it is tidle controled and constantly moving, so the silt never gets a chance to settle. You can see maybe a foot down on a good day.
