Looking for a boat hull cleaner that is also safe for my painted Eagle trailer.. Don't have alot of grime, some discolored hull & water line from being in the River for 2 weeks.. I tried one product, "biodegradable", it worked on small area, but noticed it discolored a diamond plate trailer step where I set the sponge..

You are not going to find much that doesn't hurt the trailer. I buy powdered oxalic acid in bulk and mix it in a garden sprayer and have my pressure washer handy and immediately spray the trailer.

If you can get beyond the bad music, here is a video

My boats are older, but I get significantly fewer stains when I keep her polished (compounded 1st when necessary). When she is smooth, most stuff just sprays or wipes off.

I use the same "Biodegradable" on my boat. I just spray the trailer (galvanized) down prior to application of the cleaner. I use a garden sprayer to apply the cleaner. No scrubbing or wiping required. Spray on/ hose off. No problems staining the trailer
