Safe-t-Alert Gasoline detector installation area

Bought a Safe-t-Alert Gasoline detector for safety reasons. Placing it in the outboard motor but should I place one under the boat deck too? Or is there not much of a risk of explosion under the deck when you have an outboard motor?

If you have a fuel tank or even an open space below deck, then it would be good to have a second sensor in that location.
