1982 50 hp Mariner, I know we spent several days correcting the problem with this motor. We had it right and running great, but my buddy said that the floats needed adjusting. I said cool, but dont mess with anything else. We got the thing back together, and low and behold....back to square one. But I figured this one out on my own and thought this would help others here. On the side of the carbs there is a blue round piece that the fuel goes in. these have to be turned the right way up or down to work right. make sure the fuel inlets are turned up to flow fuel, they are designed to cut off fuel flow in case of a flip over.

Suzuki40
