Sailboat House Batteries

I am considering buying a sailboat which has 2 6VGC2 batteries. How often should they be replaced and what are reasonably quality and priced battery manufactures? Thank you ahead of time.

Those are golf cart batteries which are common in sail boats. My buds sail boat had 8 of them

Brand and location and use all play into battery life.

A good golf cart battery is about $200 +/-. An Odyssey is about $350

Might be time to consider moving up to LifePO4 batteries....

Depends. Many sailboats rely on the batteries as ballast
