Hi...new to forum.
I dug my Chrysler sailor 10 {or 9.9 autoelectric..not sure] out of my basement after ten year of resting. It wouldn't fire. It ran fine before I stored it .It has good compression, suspecting a gummed carb, I sprayed starting fluid into the cylinder, reinstalled the same plug with no start. It wasn't quite dark and I removed the plug grounded it with a small wire and alligater clip but couldn't see a spark in the plug. Any ideas? I'm thinking that the ignition is magneto and has no moving parts to gum up. I do notice that there is a wired CDI module bolted to the head, does that mean I do not have a magneto system?
Is there a way to check the CDI module?
Thank you in advance
