hi my neihbor gave me a bayliner trophy with an omc v8 in it i tried to start it and just click click she had the entire engine replaced NEW in the spring.she got divorced Never used the boat but once and left it in the water all season, Now the problem when i pulles the plugs, which by the way were all super loose 3 plugs where covered in a white goop like salt! there is Absolutly NO TRACE of water in the oil so i assume moister got in from the loose plugs. So the engine wont turn i tried a breaker bar on the balacer! so i assume the salt or wahtever it is is actinglike a glue in those cyliders! when i take a little of that salt looking substance between my fingers it just melts away, so at this point could i try to flush out those cylinders with hot water and then blow em dry with compressed air and immedietly fillem with marvelmystery oil or would that do even more damage? i mean the crank case oil is pure gold and the rockers and valve covers are in perfect condition! Any help would be great! thanks james babylon ny
