I have a 1990 Evinrude VRO 60hp that burned a piston and scored the cylinder wall on the center cylinder. The motor looks new yet, no sun fade, never been in salt water.Would there be any salvage value for the cover, lower leg and factory power trim and tilt?

Re: Salvage value

Hi magna<br />Sure, there is allways salvage value in all things. The trick is finding the right rear for your seat. Please Email me alcan.fixit2@verizon.net . I may have a rear for you.

1990! I would rebuild it. You will not find another motor the same for as cheap as you can rebuild it or have it rebuilt. Plus, you will basically have a new engine when done! Check for prices on rebuild or if handy, try it yourself. I can also tell you where you can go with some of that stuff! Let us know what you decide and if you part it out, E-mail me at rickdb1@earthlink.net.
