Salvage Yard in New York?

I'm looking for a boat salvage yard.

My 15' Starcraft flipped off of it's trailer as I was pulling it through a field to our shop to do some work on it. My Evinrude Lark IV took the hit and cracked up the fiberglass cover and snapped part of the cast aluminum mounting bracket. So I'm looking for a new (used) cover and a mounting bracket, or a motor carcass to pull the parts from.

The boat itself will need a new windshield, rear light pole, new horn, and will have to have a dent hammered out of the side but looks otherwise OK.

Can anyone reccomend a place to go for parts as I'd really like to save this boat.

Thanks,

Erik

Eric, There is a place in Central NJ that may have the motor parts. They have lots of old (60s-70s) evinrude/johnny parts. PM Me is you are interested.

In NJ, Trixie's Marina, Bayville, NJ (motor stuff only). Boat will be a problem. Probably will need to get new parts for it.

Where in New York, there are a bunch of places along lake champlain, as well as a bunch extending west towards buffalo. Post an ad on the free classified at the aomci.org (antique outboard motor club), maybe someone can point you towards some parts for your motor. Trixies is a fun place, but being on a salt marsh, many of the motor parts are crap, also if you go there, bring bug spray or you'll get eaten alive! Sorry about your boat, hope you get it fixed like new soon.
