I promised on one of the engine repair forums to post a few pics of our cruise on San Francisco Bay yesterday. The water was glass, the weather was 65, 5 mph winds, boat ran great and we had a really, really good time.

Hope you enjoy the photos.

I haven't seen weather that good on SF Bay in the summertime, L2B.

Looks like you had a great day and got some great pix. :)

BTW, the beautiful lady in one of the photo's is my wife of 20 years this March. 1st marriage for both if us at 22 years old, survived the military (divorce rate is 90% at times), bad economic times, and several moves. We have had some terrible trips in the boat with breakdowns, getting lost in the dark, frozen trailer bearings, etc., etc. So it was nice to have a day where nothing went wrong.

Your a lucky man. Nice clear day. And someone to share it with. Don't get no better then that.

I would love to take my wife out and get a pic of her under the Verazzano Bridge. With the Statue of Liberty behind her.

And a picture of the lighthouse right below the Verazanno too....

I was at Bodega Bay. Same weather. Hard to believe its February. The ocean was so clear.

I'll start my fishing in March at Lake Sonoma....you wait it will rain. Well, if we are lucky it will rain.

Think they'll move some of the prisoners from Guantanamo Bay to Alcatraz?

I can imagine the Marinites complaining a little on that bit of news.

My brother said Clear Lake was the same. Have you been up to Sonoma lately? I heard it's pretty low. I might take a ride up there on Sunday. Mendocino and Pillsbury are both nearly dry. Supposed to rain tomorrow, not much though. It's going to be a rough summer. I had to cut and water the lawn last Sunday. Too early for that!

My family and I went to Clear Lake a couple summers ago. It was the very first trip in the boat after having to scrimp and save for 3 years for manifolds, risers, couplers, etc. The old ones were cracked due to internal corrosion build up. It was a very fun, memorable trip. Haven;t had a chance to go back since.

I was on Lake Sonoma two months ago. Low, but still has water and the ramps still are functional, unlike Mendicino. I plan to take my boat out in March so I expect it will start to rain by then.

Since I don't control the weather, I will enjoy this weather as long as it lasts.
