I removed the plastic nozzle and put tin foil over the opening then screwed on the cap and placed it in the fridge - 6 months ago. Took it out two weeks ago to finish what I started last fall and all I had to do was cut out the top 1/8" or so that had cured. Underneath was good as new. This stuff is too expensive to waste.

I stick a nail down in there, it'll keep a few months. Even when the top gets sealed off, you can still cut a hole in the tube.

$10.00, $15.00 what the ???? Here the SMALL tubes (3oz) are $12-$15 and the big caulking gun size is about $24-$26 depending where you buy it. Why is everything so expensive here ? I protest :D

I've never seen 5200 anywhere but a boat store. I'm checking at lowes and HD from now on. I hate paying $25 for tube!
