I'll take "Oh my God" back if "OMG" goes away.

...the evolution is inevitable.
Inevitable, but somewhat tragic. They just don't write things this weighty any longer:

This story shall the good man teach his son
And Crispin Crispian shall ne?er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne?er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs?d they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin?s day.

If you don't want to hear them again, why bring them up?

Never recited better than by Sir Laurence Olivier in his 1944 movie version of Henry V. He won a Honorary Oscar for that film in 1944 and a best actor one in 1948 for Hamlet.

"LOL" and "Take it to the next level"....Both so overused that they are meaningless.

Made me wanna' go fight with 'em ... I've actually never seen that one. Might have to rent it with the kids.

One of my favorites. Every film student should see it. Interesting transition from a stage play of Henry V to live action. Watch it once for the story and then again for the production inventiveness. Though I have always been a fan of Richard Burton for his acting ability and somewhat for the fact he is a fellow Taffy, Olivier is in my mind the best actor ever.

I have two peeves..

1) have a good one. Have a good what. That one just annoys me.
2) when people, mostly the older ones trying to be hip, do that thing with their fingers where the thumb, index, and pinky hang out and the stick it up in the air. I really hate that.

This will sound odd. But the one lately that is bugging me is "Thank you so much". It used to be Thank you, or thank you very much. Now it is always "thank you so much".
