I bought this faucet off of Amazon for the galley on my boat.

This morning when I paid for it, it was $57 shipped.
I checked in on the site again tonight to show a friend the styling of the faucet.

List Price:$450
Amazon Price: $315

Had to go back and check my receipt email to be sure I was looking at the right number when I bought it. Sure enough, it was $57 this morning.

That's a heck of a deal. I think the best one I've gotten was on our cell phones. We do pay-as-you go AT&T so our phones aren't subsidized by a contract. We originally had these little cheapie candy bar style phones that we got for like $10 a piece. We wanted to get some phones with a keyboard to make texting easier and I found a deal on Pantech Link phones refurbished on AT&T's site for $10. So I bought two. They both looked brand new mint condition and we love them. As soon as they sold out of the refurbs the price went back to like $200! Even today they are still like $100.

Wow, getting anything at anything but an inflated price from a phone carrier is a rare deal

See if you can get someone to pay you $175 for that foo-foo faucet then go find yourself a $60 faucet for $20!

Find me a single handle faucet that is NOT intended for hot AND cold, and doesn't look like a garden hose spigot, and I'll consider it.

Thats what I settled on after getting tired of looking for something a little more simple, but either way, I kinda like the foo-foo faucet.

Put mahogany paneling up in the boat, and working on maple cabinets, and some oak trim here and there. Wrapping up an on demand LP water heater setup, and building a shower to use the hot water in. El Cheapo fixtures aren't gonna cut it at this point.
