Ok, yesterday I got a bottle of Scotch.......

I like it on the rocks, and I like it with water. What are some other ways to mix it?

I know that there are some drinks that use it along with vermouths and bitters, but I have never tried them.....any favorites?

Ohhhhh, yum, and I was gonna go to bed . . .

You might try soda for variety. Some people like Rusty Nails which is Scotch and Drambuie, but Scotch is fun just trying Single Malts neat, rocks or soda. There are so many different ones, it's just about preference and variety. Years ago I hated MacCallan for example, thought it tasted like Bourbon, now it's a favorite. I guess tastes change. Generally I do prefer mine rocks, but If I were you I'd skip any flavored mixers . . .

I remember in a movie or something that *****s drink it with milk . . . You try it Pony and let us know :% 8)

You use Sweet Vermouth and Bitters to make a Manhattan, but that's typically with Bourbon . . . I like them, they're like an anti-Martini, sweet instead of bone dry. You can also make an Old Fashioned, which is bitters, sugar and soda, both with an orange slice or cherry for garnish. But again, I think of Bourbon or even Canadian Whisky, but not usually Scotch for mixing like that.

Re: Scotch...

To be more accurate its a scotch whisky blend...... I'm not usually a scotch drinker by any means. I am a Wisky man through and through. What I have noticed about this scotch is it is flavor is very light and it is pretty smooth....................not as smooth as some of the better wiskys I have had, but smooth.

I will probably try it with soda next, will will probably skip the milk QC 8).

About forty years ago, there was a milk campaign, that started out - Have you noticed how many pretty women are drinking milk... One of my DJ colleages ad libed over the spot, Probably with a little scotch. I have tried it and it is quite good. Of course I like Milk and I like scotch, so what's not to like.

Re: Scotch...

Ginger ale or 7-up mix well with cheap scotch.

Drambuie makes a rusty nail.

Fine scotch on the rocks.

Premium Single Malt. . . neat only.
