Hello everyone, my question is this :
there seems to be rust and stuff in this old gas tank on top of motor. i took it off and started to try and clean it by putting stones in the tank and adding gas and swirling it around and dumping it out into (the proper container of course)
anyway it seems to be getting cleaner the whole motor is in tip top shape look wise for it's age, but before I tried it i wanted to get this thing shiney. is there a gas tank sealer or something i could use after i get the rust and stuff free? do you all have any other suggestions?
thanks very much :)

There used to be some tank cleaner-sealer kits available for motorcycle gas tanks. Haven't seen that in years though. Good place to try looking would be bike restoration websites/catalogs/books/etc. Motorcycles are certainly more plentiful than Scott Atwater 3.6 hps (didn't they make radios???).

Where did you find your swishing-gravel? I could use some!
