it's one of the most inexpensive things you can do for your motor, it gets all the old built up carbon, and impurities, out of the engine, has been known to increase compression, frees up rings. just makes it feel better.

Don't stop there. Put it in your truck, lawnmower, chainsaw, weed eater, farm tractor (gas or diesel) and anything else that you can find.

We have emissions testing here for annual vehicle inspection and my '91 farm truck passed (50% of limit) easily after using it.

I was about to throw away a chain saw and 2 weed eaters......not any more.

I was going to (have to) overhaul a 40 year old Massey Ferguson diesel tractor........not anymore.

Just bought another case of it Saturday.

Yes it does work, I use it all the time, but now making my own.

I have soaked carboned valves in it and it never even touched them, I mean nothing!!!

I mean, the only actual active ingreadient is Naphtha [White gas, lighter fluid etc].

It is just a solvent...naptha...that is contained in almost every carb cleaner on the market. They are selling basically the exact same thing at the 99 cent store down the street.

I just pour a little naptha stright from home depot can if I ever think I need it.

Naptha is a solvent that is actually already in gasoline. You are just making it more concentrated. Other than cleaning your fuel system, probably more a placebo effect for other things mentioned.

I am in Nova Scotia and cant seem to locate seafoam but can easily get the omc stuff..I think it is called engine tuner...anyway says it supposed to do the same things....does anyone know if it works as good as Seafoam?

it does work great!1 i just did mine last night.. BUT!!! when you are done, the spark plugs are shot!! they may not look bad.. but they likely are.. i had a brand new set in right before i did it and then tonight i didnt have any spark at the plug.. but if i took the plug out it did.. plugs were shot.. something learned the hard way..

Jeezz...if ya don't reliaze that ya should use old good plugs when Seafoam or ANY Decarb is used, and THEN run it out under load, THEN ..well, ya get my drift..​

I checked with Carquest and they have seafoam deep creep and sea foam engine additive.....which one am I supposed to use?...Than You

Deep Creep is the aerosol form. It's normally sprayed into the carb throat until engine is choked down, allowed to soak, then run out.

So it doesnt really matter which one I purchase just as long as I follow the directions on the can or in the link above?Seems to me that the aerosol would be much simpler but I do not know...sometimes simple is not always best...lol
