Re: sea fox boats

John H-
The wrong prop could contribute to the problem, but I don't know to what extent. Ask the dealer to tell you what size prop is on it now, and what prop do they plan on putting on for next week.

Also, you mention that the motor was never run in water. I assume it must be new. Has it been fully broken in? Does the dealer know how many hours are on it? Need some more info before some of the more knowledgeable memebers will be able to help out.

Let us know what you find out!

Re: sea fox boats

The boat was previously owned but never in the water I don't know which prop it had only that it had a number 17 on it and that may just be the way they are keeping track of it. I think that maybe the throttle had just never been adjusted right and wouldn't open all the way but do not know anything about this so might have been just the wrong prop. was impressed by the quietness of the motor though even though it wasn't at top RPM's.
