looking for info on a sea king. looks like it was made by gale. model # gg18806a. i see many places that these are the same as johnson. what model would i look for parts from? new to boating and not sure how this all works. thanks

That is a 63 the last year of production.Similar year Evinrude or Johnson motors are very similar.
Routine parts are available here at iboats.
Many venders on the net have new andf used parts.Many have info of what fits what.
Evinrude/Johnson dealers can supply parts if you have a part number.
