Sea King 5 What year is it and what size?

Sea King 5, serial number: 65X611619 and model number: GG9001C. Can anyone tell me what year this is and what size. Should I use 24:1? Thanks for your help. Is there a manuel? I have been working on this motor.

1956, 5 hp made by Gale...the generic mfg. division of OMC/Evinrude/Johnson. Point gap is .020, plug gap is .030 and gas/oil ratio is 24:1 with modern TCW-3 marine oil...16:1 if you're using bargain basement auto oil. Reverse the first two numbers of the serial number to get the year. Nice, reliable little motors...make sure it is pumping water (run it in a tub/barrel) and the fuel system is clean.
