Any way to find out some info out on this trailer. I have the tag, model number is FDH-60-27210P, I cant read all of the serial number but it starts off 76X-????, has 1000lb capacity. This trailer was at my brothers house for years, we know nothing about it. It had probably a 14 or 16 footer on it. Gonna need info for registering, and bearings and stuff.

Re: Sea King boat trailer help

Good luck. With a trailer that old it's going to be nearly impossible to find much info. I'm sure Sea King was built by some manufacturer for Montgomery Wards and then branded with the Sea King label. Same as they did for their boats and engines.

Bearings and seals shouldn't be a problem as they were mostly standardized and should be able to be found at any auto parts store.

I know this isn't much help or very incouraging but there just isn't a lot of info out there for old trailers. Example, I had an old Gator trailer from late 50's to early 60's and I wasn't able to find any info on it.

Really not a huge deal, like you said should be common bearings and seals, only tires and lights left after that.
It does say Montgomery Wards on the bottom of the tag.
