well i have a 78/79? clinton sea king model k900 6106A / 1240554/ type XTV 52309A. im trying to find a carburator that will replace the one thats on it which is an obsolete Walbro LME - 55, ive located some rebuild kits that will work, but while looking for those ive also found alot of new carburators for just a few dollars more lots of them look the same but of course i realise i need to go by more than that. a rebuild kit is better than nothing but the whole thing is pretty beat up. so let me know if you know of any info you might know of.

one other issue is the plug wire, i know its bad because its held together with a wire nut and electrical tape, anyway any insight on which one i need will be great.

Solid core sparkplug wire should work.
Perhaps if you contact those with the carbs they can tell you what will work
or at least some demensions.
