Hey everyone!, looking for a manual for a 54 5hp. sea king. Got stuck piston. soaking for a few days in tranny fluid and diesel to try and loosen. had left it alone for a year or so. Now got the bug again and want to get it running hopefully by this winter. Winters are mild here in south Texas. Great for fishing or just putting around with the little 5hp.
please help anyone, Thanks for all.

P.S. Any one know if you can replace carb gasket on 1934 evinrude Elto believe 3hp with oreily's make your own rubber fiber gasket sheet?

www.acmeoutboards.com has a manual for that exact model Sea King. And yeah, you can make you own gaskets for old motors using parts store gasket material...definitely not rocket science, given the technology of the day.

I appreciate the input on the put put gasket. Little elto was running "somthing fierce" it decided to start spitting her fuel out through carb gasket when priming like it hated it. I wonder what the general availability of parts is for this little kicker?

hey windy whats the chance of that piston coming loose after soaking for a few days to a week on the S. King?
