Well thank you, I now know I have a 1948 1w5 Sea King made by Gail.


This place is awsome with all you that are in here. Now to find parts so I can restore mine. I want it in mint condition.

thanks a bunch for the info on the year and manu. of my sea king now armed , i can get parts for it instead of haveing repair people try to sell me one of there used motors .

looking for parts for my 7.5 sea king havent had any luck with sears ( looking for the plastic gears the control the throttle model# xtv-50575b serial# 1616556 any suggestions would be deeply apper. thanks

I think the model is KTV not xtv. I could be wrong

I am having the same problem.. Mine is a 7.5 hp, and it is a xtv 50575. It is a x plain as day... it is a model k751 5106b , serial number 1383690. I am not sure if they mistamped them with a x but it is a x..

I to am trying to find out about our sea king motor, it needs the impellar replaced and we need to know the year. the Discount marine parts didn't have a place at the bottom of the page. What am I doing wrong?Our model#VWB19076 Serial#46x 11957 any help out there?

Without trying to figure out what you are doing wrong, I'll simply tell you that you have a 1964 Sea King made by Chrysler. The VWB is the idendifier for Chrysler and the 46X is the year. Reverse the 46 and you get 64...1964. Cool, huh?

Oh, and Chrysler was previously known as West Bend---the WB in VWB.
