I have a Sea King 6hp outbord sold by Montgomery Wards. Can anyone tell me who made it? The model number is VWB 19073 A, the serial number is 56xc12554. This is probably a 1960s model. Thankyou Pagost.
The 19073 is listed as a 65 built by WestBend.<br />West Bend was purchased by Chrysler about that time so It could be Chrysler built.Most likely parts are the same whichever."Important point" My aftermarket manual lists a 16:1 fuel mix on a 65 West Bend.The bearing specs indicate this is correct.Use TCW3 rated oil.The same manual doesnt list the Chrysler 6 until 68 with a 48:1 fuel mix and ball/needle bearings.
