After some clean up on my 12ft sea nymph I notice my front bench seat has broken a lose from the side of the boat. I what to remove it all togather and install a front platform using aluminum angle iron 1 1/4 with revits, but i'm afraid to drill wholes in my boat and cause leaks. I have no experience with aluminum at all and this is my first boat. I want to make it safe for my wife and kid. I need help from the boat gods. Here's an image of what i want to do. I would reattach the bench. It can be a great foundation for the platform you would like to build, and it braces the sides of the boat.
