My 2000 Sundancer 240 had a survey recently and it was discovered that the hot water hose that enters the heater box has a big section of corrosion on it and had separated from the heater itself. There was a slow leak into the bilge of hot water when the engine was running.
My question: will the whole heater need to be replaces, or can just that fixture where the heater hose enters the heater be repaired. I can't find any diagrams on-line showing it and my Clymer's manual is (not surprisingly) not detailed enough to show it.
Thanks in advance.
