Re: Sea Ray Seville Bowrider: a project boat

That is great, I think we got a good deal as well.

I didn't even think about looking for any real plans. I just really like the layout of Natique's 216v crossover so I drew up my own based loosely that layout. I have the stringers, deck and benches dry fit in the boat. Next week I plan on building the lids. Then I will take it all apart and start epoxy! Can't wait.

Everything was rotten in ours so I took her down to the hull. Once I get the stringers and deck back the transom comes out. After the transom goes back in I'll start on the sundeck.

Here is a shot looking from the aft, she will have a ton of storage with the new layout. I am moving all the foam into the gunwales above deck. All the wiring will be in conduit with mule tape for adding extras later.

Good luck with yours, we are looking forward to getting her all back together.

Well, I see a few different project here and it is all good stuff. Anyone have any details on this 'bellows' thing and how hard it is to change it out? My Sea Ray seems to be taking on a little water this year. I wonder if the plug is in tight enough or if I should use some teflon tape on it. I think I will pull her out for a few minutes this weekend to put some on it.

Raymond...

Look in the Repair and Maintenance forums there is a ton of information regarding the bellows, how to check, how to fix, etcetera. The search function is very effective at narrowing down on posts that will be meaningful to your query.

Good Luck!
