as a long time sailor i would be wondering how clean your bottom is

a thin layer of slime will slow you down a lot a heavy enough one could keep you from even getting on plane

tommays

Neil,
Is this something new that just happened? Or has it been like this the whole time you have had the boat?

you did not waste your time

its and easy thing to check and far more common then you would believe

if its clean look somewere else if not take a swim with a sotch brite pad ;)

marine life on boats bottoms is different all over the place even different in the southern and northern USA

tommays
