I have a 1995 ebbtide with a 5.7 yamaha sterndrive with a sea water/raw water pump cooling system. I have replaced the impeller in the pump and am still not picking up any water. I have narrowed down the problem to the raw water supply tube which seems to be clogged. I don't see any kinks in the boat side of the intake, so could the water hose in the transom assembly be the culprit? If so, do I have to take the outdrive off to inspect the hose.
I think I know the answer, but am hoping there is some short cut.
